Wellspring Calgary offers movement and mediation programs (Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Tango, Yoga, and Skiing, exercise and education), as well as caregiving and self-care programs (foods for care and comfort).
Alberta Healthy Living Program: Supervised Exercise
This program is for adults with one or more chronic conditions that require the supervision of an Exercise Specialist to learn how to exercise safely.
BEAUTY: Health and Wellness Lab
BEAUTY (Breast cancer patients Engaging in Activity while Undergoing Treatment) is a free 12 to 24 week exercise and wellness program for women receiving treatment for breast cancer). They will conduct a fitness assessment prior to their individualized exercise program, some group classes, and biweekly education sessions.
Eligibility
Women must be over than 18, with breast cancer, and currently on treatment (chemotherapy and/or radiation) or within 3 months of treatment completion.
PEER: Health and Wellness Lab
PEER offers free, safe physical activity to help kids adopt healthy behaviours and empower them these kids with cancer to stay physically active. Each training session is tailored to the child's health status and fitness condition.
Eligibility
Children and youth (5 to 18 years) diagnosed with cancer at any stage of treatment or survivorship. Sibilings are also welcome.

THRIVE: Health and Wellness Lab
THRIVE is a fitness facility aimed to empower and improve the quality of life of those affected by cancer. It is free for use by cancer patients, survivors, caregivers/supporters. The gym is monitored by exercise specialists and volunteers trained in cancer and exercise.
Eligibility
All individuals diagnosed with cancer (on or off treatment) and their caregivers/supporters.

YOGA THRIVE: Health and Wellness Lab
YOGA THRIVE is a therapeutic yoga program for cancer survivors and their support persons. It is a 12-week program doing hatha yoga, modified for cancer patients/survivors, especially those experiencing stiffness, pain, stress or fatigue. Each class is 75 minutes, and held once/week for 12 weeks.
It is offered in 14 locations in Calgary and across Alberta:
Canmore, Cochrane, Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Grand Prarie, Jasper, Lethbridge, and St. Albert.
Eligibility
A cancer patient/survivor and their support person.

Alberta Health Services: Eating for Your Life
AHS provides classes for cancer patients and their family members on how patients should eat, to give them the health and strength to fight cancer and maximize the benefits of treatments.
This includes:
- Information on how to maintain a healthy body weight during treatment
- Information on foods that can manage the side effects of cancer treatment
- Nutritional information
- Q&A with the Dietitian
