Carlson Wagonlit Bursary

$1000 towards young adults between the age of 17-21 in their academic pursuits of post secondary education, awarded only once in the course of your education

Application Deadline: March 31

Eligibility

  • member of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Programs

  • childhood cancer or still in treatment

How to Apply

  • Letter of interest describing: future academic goals, why you are applying and volunteer work

Emmy Duff Scholarship

$1500 to young adults with cancer with post-secondary endeavors

 

Eligibility

  • Students in any Canadian university/college

  • Canadian citizen/permanent resident

  • Ongoing volunteer commitment to causes that are important to them

  • Undergone cancer treatment or currently being treated

  • Letter from oncologist

Childhood Cancer Canada Survivor Scholarship

$1500 for students in any program to support their post secondary endeavors

Eligibility

  • Diagnosis before 19th birthday

  • Canadian citizen/permanent resident

  • Letter from oncologist/current physician

INFUSION Bursary Program

$2000 bursary rewarded to each individual once in their post secondary education

Eligibility

  • Childhood cancer patient/survivor

  • Canadian citizen/permanent residence

  • Enrolled in university/college

TEVA Canada Scholarship

$5000 for students who are pursuing a post secondary education in the fields of pharmacy, medicine, or health sciences

Eligibility

  • Diagnosis before 19th birthday

  • Canadian citizen/permanent resident

Typically Canadian OPFFA Scholarship

Two to four scholarships (varies depending on the amount raised)  to provide financial support for young Canadian cancer survivors between the age of 17-24 in any university in Canada

Eligibility

  • Canadian citizen/permanent resident

Education Award for Brain Tumour Survivors

One-time award of up to $5,000 for a survivor that must be diagnosed with a brain tumour before the age of 18, currently between the ages of 16 and 25, and pursuing post-secondary education

 

Eligibility

  • Survivor of pediatric brain tumour

  • In graduating year of high school OR CEGEP students OR currently enrolled full-time in a recognized Canadian university or college
